Write book reviews for money

For writers of incipient looking for making money on the internet, one way to break into the market is by writing reviews of books and sell them to sites that need. If you read regularly, you know that what lee almost always leaves with a printing or other - why not write about your impressions and earn money while you do.

For some reason, many people who want to write for the internet tends to jump directly to articles and web content. Very few actually take the time to write a good review. One of the reasons for this is that sites like helium and associated content are well known content article sites that offer secure money for someone who can write (and attract an audience to read what they write).

However, there is something to say to write serious reviews. People read before you buy new books, and many consider reviews as invaluable tools to eliminate irrelevant and poorly written literature of any genre. Sale of revisions is a task far more time than the sale of articles, however.

When it comes to reviews of books, there are fewer options exist for articles, although they can sometimes carry articles that exist in constant work for a single client. In presenting its consideration to a magazine or newspaper, for example, can sometimes win a season of occasional guest reviewer, or even a working full-time as a writer. If their skills are of one high enough quality, his writing may even earn you a work written other content of the publication.

So, if you're one of those who regularly recording through the pages of a book as the front cover in fire and is racing the flames to see how the ends of the story, try to write and submit your own review of a book recently has read. It can be that you surprised even yourself.

Reviews of children's books for children: how to write review of a children book

I should probably write book reviews in school. As a kid, I used to hate to write them. But now I use profiles that others have written all the time. Help me to decide what books I would like to read below. So if you are a child and you have to write a review, here is how to write one about a book that I think will like other children.

In fact, you can't be about a book that you really like. They are also helpful negative comments. Sometimes a book that he dislikes is still a great book, not just for you. Another child with other interests might find that perfect book for them. So write your review of anyway.

Here are some things that should be included in your review:

Title

Be sure to obtain the correct and complete title to the book of that review. Sometimes the series of books has parts of titles that are the same and different. If you don't include the full title, another child could read your opinion and ill get the book to read.

For example, you probably know about diary of a child might, by Jeff Kinney. But if later review one of the books in the series, be sure to include the entire title, like this: Diary of a Wimpy child: really ugly (book 5).

Author

You probably hates the people say or write his name wrong. I bet the authors of the books you are reading feel exactly the same way!

Be sure to correctly write the name of the author. Check and double check your report.

Recommended age or degrees

You can read a fun book, but they know is too difficult for her younger sister to read. So they include the age that you think you will enjoy the book.

You could say something like "Recommended for children in 4th and 5th grade". Or something like "I'm 10, but usually read books that are much more difficult that it supposed that you reading in the school." "So I think it would be better for the sixth or seventh degree."

Summary of the history

Give a brief description of the main things happen at the beginning of the story, or the principle and the environment. But don't forget not to give the end, especially if there is something really amazing happens.

There are other things that may want to include in his review:

Something that really enjoyed

If you thought that the book was funny, say so. If it seemed exciting or fear, and love the adventure, mention it.

Something that you don't like the book

Perhaps the beginning is really good, but the end is boring. Perhaps the book seemed too scared to children, or gave him nightmares. You can warn others about it.

Other similar books

The book review compare to other similar books. In this way, children can have a better idea if it could be something you would like to read.

Others that might enjoy the book

Say what kind of children believes that the book could interest you. For example, "If like to read books about spies or adventure, you can enjoy the series Alex Rider." "Do or,"If you like books about witches are not too much miedas, you can enjoy"which witch?"by Eva Ibbotson.

Recommend other books or authors

It's fun to find a lot of books by another author who doesn't even know. Therefore include other authors with books like the review. Or can suggest other books that are similar to this one, that other children may also enjoy reading.

Think of the children will be reading the review. Use some of these tips that I have given them in writing. If you do, you will be able to write reviews of books for children and help other children sharing their love of reading and great books.

Steps in becoming a book reviewer

Do you want to be a book reviewer?. Like to read books and think that you can earn extra money by writing reviews of books, or perhaps you are an author that is a little frustrated that cannot be revisions so it decided to begin to review books for yourself or you think writing reviews, might get people interested in reading their books.

They are all good reasons to become a book reviewer, but how to go about it, and what rules or guidelines need to follow?

Book reviewer qualifications
In this era of the Internet, anyone can be a book reviewer, but some basic qualifications are needed to establish himself as a renowned and reliable. You don't need a Ph.d. in English, doesn't have to be an expert in anything, and doesn't have to be an author. But it is necessary to have a good command of English language and be able to express themselves well. She also wished to have a professional attitude, be fair and be careful about how to express their views, not just reacting according to their own preferences but also taking into account the book recipients and what the opinion of the majority may be towards the book. In short, still being balanced honest is key qualities of a successful review book.

Introduction
People start to review books in many ways. Many authors begin by sharing books and write comments between them as a way of mutually supportive fellow authors. You may want to begin by writing comments and place them on Amazon or Barnes & Noble Web sites, or any of the editorial reader sites lover as LibraryThing. You can even decide to create your own blog or Web site where can publish his book reviews. Today, many bloggers are their own independent book reviewers. If you don't want to run your own blog, you can connect with bloggers to your guest book reviewer. Do not ignore the possibilities of review online or in homes of impresión-potencial for his book reviews are endless.

If you really want to learn the ropes of book review, may want to start writing opinions for a service of review established book or publication. While printed publications are gradually in book reviews, many magazines and newspapers still have comments. Some of these publications have an established book reviewer or book team, while others requested tests. Send an enquiry to the publication and ask if they would be interested in a review of a specific book, or if you can write comments for them books many of them are in the mail that would be willing to send. Review online services, including the views of readers, reviewed the book and pen pen reviews also have teams of book. Many of these services are configured so that readers can choose books who wish to review. Some of these services offer a monetary compensation to review books, while others offer only a copy of the book to be reviewed as compensation. In any case, it is a great way to start winning book reviewer credentials.

Find your niche as a reviewer
Initially, you may want to review any book that you can get your credentials and to be known as a reviewer of book, but over time, may decide that you want to become an expert reviewer for certain types of books such as novels or self-help. Several authors/bloggers should focus exclusively on one type of book. If you are an author, can review books similar to yours, mysteries, thrillers, or cookbooks. If you have some credentials, such as an archaeologist, a history teacher or a psychologist with a license, you can focus on review of books in these fields. If you're a MOM loves House, you can review books or child-rearing books. And of course, don't forget to published authors. Yes, they would like to read John Grisham novels, but he probably doesn't need his book reviews to increase sales, so consider writing a review for a published author who only wrote his first thriller and is trying to get exposure. In this way, you both doing each other a favor, promote the together book through its review. Published authors can be very grateful for your help, and then see their friends to so you can quickly create their credentials and clients.

Review for money
When you start being a reviewer, you probably want to review some free books just to get your name out there and build their credentials. It can offer its services to members of an Association of authors and give a special price for a review. Many authors are not going to pay $50, much less than $600 for a book review (Yes, there are reviewers who are paid $600), but might be willing to give you a copy of his book and $25. As known and increase their credentials, always can charge more. Do not be embarrassed about load to write comments. They are committing their time to read the book, and it may take from a couple of hours to more than twenty years to read a book, not to mention the time spent writing the review and preparation for publication, either online or in print.

Good and bad comments
Be prepared if you decide to write negative comments, some authors and readers than angry. If you load a revision, you can especially be problems here. You must decide if you only write book reviews you like, or be honest regardless of whether you like the book. It should always be ethical and write comments only good for the readers of money that they have praised a book that is poorly written will be quickly read your comments. Be upfront with authors and let them know that it is sincere in his opinions. You can set a policy that if does not have three stars or higher in a review, you can write the review but not to publish, and that the author can be considered the test as an evaluation with pointers to make the book better. Sure that someone does not like a review he wrote, but while the reviewers must be professionals at what they say, revisions are also subjective and understood based on personal opinion.

Let the book review Begin
I hope these few tips to help you begin your career as a critical book. You must review book may take a long time, but can also be enjoyable and enlightening; It will probably be much more information about topics that interest you and expand your horizons read new books that otherwise would have never experienced. Books can change the world, and to help readers select the best books to read, are doing their part to make the world a better place.

Ten book pick up suggestions that I have learned over the years

I have always enjoyed visiting book stores. I went to my brother about libraries used for years. He started collecting books in the 1980s when he was on the West Coast.

Although I enjoyed looking for books I knew nothing of what became a collectible book. I don't understand then why my brother was interested in collecting all the pretty horses Cormac McCarthy for a few dollars at a used book store... but I do it now!

In late 1990 when he came internet... my brother showed me how to find the prices of the books through exchange of advanced book (abebooks.com) and eBay. Gave me many other book collect suggestions.

Therefore... in 1998 I decided to start to pick up the book.

Here is the book collection of tips I've learned since then:

1) That a book to be collectible, should be a first edition (also called first impression)

How do you know? Well, open the book up on the third page - usually the page after the first page - copyright page.

Look at the bottom of the page. It will normally be a line with numbers from one to 10. (i.e. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0)

If you see a line number with a "1" in the first edition.

Almost 80% of modern editors have standardized the use of a number of the line that represents the number of printing.

If there is no line number then search for the words "first edition" or "first impression" or "published". Old books, is best to consult one of the many books on the identification of the first edition.

(2) Condition book has a great impact on its value

Condition is critical to the value of a book. Just reading a book once can result in stains, tears or friction that might reduce its value by 30-50% or more. The higher grades of a book are very thin (essentially impeccable) either. Dust jacket condition these days is very important that the cover can be attributed to 75 per cent of the value of the book.

Always try to buy books where the book and dust jacket essentially new feature (described as beautiful / fine).

(3) First book of the author tends to be the most valuable book writes

The Publisher is taking an opportunity of a new author not verified. Only a small number of books... perhaps only a few thousand of books may be printed. If the author obtained favourable reviews and sold the first impression... the editor may request a second printing with more books. And sign the author for a second book.

From the author's next book is likely to have a run in his first impression of... two or three times that of the first book of the author. You can see the demand and value of the first book will be more--perhaps much higher than the second book!

(4) Collect hardcover books

Hardcover trade Edition is usually the first selling book. You will have a greater longevity of the Softcover Edition which turn yellow with time and the pages will be fragile. Pocket Books can go six months to a year later. Pocket Books are for reading. Some may pick them up but I do not. The same applies to the editions of the book club. These books are shorter, more slender and have a price in the jacket.

Buy paperback to read... do not collect!

(5) Select books these book genres: literature, science fiction, fantasy and mystery

What gender (pronounced zhahn'-ruh) mean? It is a category or style which can refer to films (for instance horror films), music or books. Books in other genres, such as history or biographies can be highly collectible, too. But it may not reach the heights of value that can be in the genres of fiction.

(6) Book awards

Books which have won awards from book are often very valuable and collectible. In particular... being in search of his first book by an author who has won a prize.

(7) Books that are generating a buzz can be worth collection

It is a collection of the art book to examine books with reviews of good books, perception is in best-sellers lists... or the book is doing in a movie.

(8) Signed books

Books are signed by the author in general increase the value of a book of 20 to 100%. Authors sign book earlier in his career... and less when they are most famous. So later signed books by known authors may have considerable value... Although many first editions were printed.

See your local newspaper for author signing events. There are fewer independent book stores these days... but many are able to stay in business and prosper because of famous authors, coming to sign.

(9) A book will be more collectible of the country in which it was published

Often the same book was published in United States and United Kingdom. If it was first published in the United Kingdom will be called the "first true" and more value. Books published in the United Kingdom and Canada are printed in numbers lower because of the small population - the most valuable.

(10) Valuable first editions are found on the shelves of treatment in the main libraries

Editors of discount books which have ceased to sell well or have been reprinted too often. The first editions of books authors first or second at times can be found... by six or seven dollars. Often without a remainder mark (which reduces the value of books) in the bottom or top of the text block party.

Following these ten book boards of management in a period of years can generate a nice library of valuable first editions.

Use of the images in book promotion

Books usually have at least one couple of images related to them - at least the cover and the picture's author. Other books may have numerous photographs inside, white and black or in color, as well as illustrations, maps, or other types of images. All these images can help promote your book, even if people are shopping online, and not a physical book can look before you buy. Before your book is published or even established, ensure that raisins thinking in time all the ways that you can use those images in their marketing and that are in a format that will make these images available when necessary.

Make sure that you have the right kind of images

When working with the design and the photographer or person, if you have photos or other images to include, make it clear that it wishes to images in jpeg format, so it can be used online and in other formats.

Some people of book design prefers to use tiff images, which can be better in some cases for the print quality, but they are usually equally good jpeg images. Not able to publish your images online from Internet tiff preferred JPEG files. If you're expert with Photoshop or another program that will allow you to crop and edit images, change image formats may not be a problem, or may want information about how to modify images you it has more options later. But if you want a ready to use images, make sure that leaves his book design person, they know nothing cuts or changes, like on its final shape as reproduced in his book to be the best images you can use in your marketing efforts. And make sure you ask these images as JPEG files and color while his book will be printed only in black and white. People to look at images in white and black in a book, but they expect full color online. In addition, images of books generally have to be high resolution as 300 dpi, but you want a lower resolution, such as 72 dpi, if you are going to publish the images online because the lower resolution images will have less time to load on a web page.

Several ways to sell images of the book

Web site: If you are a first time author out with your first Web site, you want a Web site to resemble the deck or reflect the content of his book. Using themes, colors, graphics and images that match the book's cover and the tone of the book, purpose and content. They do not want to settle for a Web site that collides with the cover of the book or its image, or use prefabricated templates which do not project the image of the right - or what is worse, contradictory. Speak with designer of the Web page that can make the best use of the cover and other images. Use these images as a preview, which is why people want to buy the book.

Blog: As its Web site, you may want your blog to reflect the theme and the content of his book and his role as author. The blog may have a couple of images uploaded to it in the template of the blog are from his book, such as the image of an author or an image of the book. Use images to post on your blog, a couple at the same time. Here is a place that you want to make sure that you have many of the available jpeg images, so if you are going to publish a blog on a daily basis or even a couple of times a week, your images are all readily available and already cropped and size as necessary to save him from spending much time with them.

Publish extracts from his book and upload book images appropriate to each post. Alternative their posts of his book with occasional articles on yourself or things he has done and continue to take new photographs for publication. Effective blogging with images must learn how to use a program like Fireworks or Photoshop so that the images are high-quality, cropped or altered to provide the best effect.

Because people will probably have to go to read your blog entry, puts an image at the top of the entry, so grab the attention immediately rather than hide it over bottom of the page. And tease your readers-post one or two of your best images in a section of the book and let them know that most images are available in the book.

Online photo albums: In the era of social networking, people loves to see pictures of each other. If you're on Facebook, MySpace or anywhere else that allows to upload photos or images to an album, create an album of photos of his book, or even several albums for different sections of his book. People are more interested in his book if you can see some of the images. And don't be afraid of alternating some of these images for your profile picture.

Videos of preview of the book: He has made a video of his book. Several companies for the promotion of professional book, including the views of readers, make book preview films for authors. You want to present a dozen more or less the best images from his book, in jpeg format, which can be used for the video. You can include a voice command sequence or have one fact for you to help you match the words he spoke with the appropriate images to use. Although the book does not have many images, here is a reason to find additional images, provided that you pay for them or use free images royalty, to help promote the book.

Postcards and other Marketing pieces: Consider all the possibilities beyond the usual prior to promotion of the book. If he has written a book of history or tour, he would like to convert their images into its own line of postcard. If tourists can buy his book, to buy their cards, and postcards are generally low-cost, it may be likely to sell a lot of them. You can do the same with his book marketing pieces-pick five or six of their best images and perform a series of take it - for children's books could be a take for each character in the book. Cards, posters, calendars, baby cards, cups of coffee, bags, puzzles or even her own line of t-shirts? Although it does not mention his book on all of these elements, they can additional income from your images and you can sell these products on the Web site as well as his book. Local gift shop could not be interested in the sale of his books, but they might be able to sell calendars or t-shirts. Not to be limited. Market and sell your images, with or without your book.

The images are a key component for a marketing book. People love looking at pictures and captures the attention when a book of plain text can not. Use your images to get attention and promote his book in every way possible. Be creative so that these images will create additional income for you as the author.
